One of the appeals of spending a day on the laneways golfing is that you can be entirely immersed in nature, away from the computer, emails and phone calls. As good as this can be for the golfers, online connection is fundamental for businesses to thrive in today’s world.
Springfield Golf & Country Club is a magnificent, semi-private, 18-hole golf club tucked among some of the greenest sceneries in Southern Ontario, just minutes outside of the city center of Guelph, Ontario. They’re known for their amazing course, yet their online reach was definitely missing that extra grasp.
With a majority of their customers being retirees, and older professionals, the younger demographic was being virtually untapped. Through contests on social media and prize giveaways, as well as cinematic videos highlighting the golf course, Springfield’s engagement grew significantly in just a matter of weeks.
